Job Description
Database and EBS application monitoring (PROD)
Responsible for Day-to-day maintenance tasks, performing proactive health checks against EBS application server and database server
Monitoring the application node and all services status and alert in case of failures.
Monitoring the Concurrent manager status, long running , failed jobs etc.
Troubleshooting concurrent manager server, Apache and form server’s issues
DB and application Critical patch updates patching to latest
Responsible for applying patches on UAT, DEV and PROD instance.
Cloned Oracle Applications from Production to UAT, DEV instance with rapid clone
Responsible for code migration from UAT/DEV to PROD,
Prepared RMAN Backup scripts for Oracle Databases and performed recoveries.
Troubleshooting middle ware issues and user connectivity issues
Monitoring database
Supporting Development Team
Upgraded Database of EBS
Monitoring daily backups.
Importing and exporting dump files to the database if needed.
Creating on demand tables, users, roles
Creating and monitor scheduled jobs and alerts on SQL Server Database with SQL Server
Refreshed UAT, DEV instances from PROD instance with help of OCI cloud manager
Security - EBA Application & Database ( Security analysis and patching/database security hardening /Application security hardening)
Database backup schedule and recovery plan - Oracle PROD databases
Monitoring DR site and apply failover scenarios on Quarterly basis.

Scheduling Automatic Backups for the following components:
Boot Volume
EBS (Database & Application)
Create a Volume Group to make the cloning process easier and to have a time-consistent copy of all volumes together.
Clone the volume group.
Create a new compute instance from the cloned boot volume.
Attach the cloned block volumes to the newly created compute instance.
Reviewing the existing network setup and implement security best practice
Setting up Site to Site VPN,
Creating Load Balancers and Monitoring,
Creating New VMs in OCI.
